    • In the last decades, the systems of treatment of leachate have been perfected considerably and have turned more reliable. Many European spillways include plants now well designed and built that they allow to try the leachate of consistent form with the levels of specific cleaning required for each location. In this article are presented and compile the practical experience earned by the authors in the last decade in the design and the operation of plants of treatment in the United Reign and a little later in Ireland. Also becomes reference to plants in Hong Kong, Sudafrica and New Zealand in those that collaborated the same consultant company In that projects the execution of strid requirements of quality of the waters was demanded that they included parameters of like control like the survival of trouts rainbow in the tried water, before their poured in beds. The practical described cases include operative data. The article demonstrates that the treatment of the leachate at the same place is nowadays a grateful and proven technology that allow to try the waters so that the most elevated standards is completed including, · being above all the biological treatment the option highly effective and comparatively economical.
