El presente estudio tiene como objetivo analizar el movimiento #stopbromabeca, surgido en TikTok contra el trend viral #bromabeca, #becachallenge o #sordomudochallenge. Se desarrolló con una metodología de investigación cualitativa con enfoque descriptivo. A través de Atlas.ti, se analizaron los seis primeros vídeos de la sección «Populares» a partir de la búsqueda del hashtag #stopbromabeca, con el fin de determinar las percepciones predominantes de sus creadores con respecto a la tendencia. Los resultados muestran una visión común de rechazo y crítica hacia la broma, con mensajes con un enfoque formativo y de concienciación social, y que existen factores que influyen en el léxico y en el uso del humor.
The present study aims to analyze the #stopscholarshipprank movement, which emerged in TikTok againstthe viral trend #scholarshipprank, #scholarshipchallenge or #deafmutechallenge. It was carried out using aqualitative research methodology with a descriptive approach. Using Atlas.ti, the first six videos in the “Popular” section were analyzed by searching for the hashtag #stopscholarshipprank, in order to determine thepredominant perceptions of their creators with respect to the trend. The results show a common vision ofrejection and criticism towards jokes, with messages with a formative and social awareness approach, andthat there are factors that influence the lexicon and the use of humor.
