Nowadays, lots of tons of vegetables residues are incinerated every year since February to April, when olive crop campaign is finished, in the fields of provinces of Jaen, Cordoba and Granada. This process doesn't provide any benefits to the farmers, but a high cost and a risk for them. Finally, it causes a high environmental impact in those areas where it's developed. Thermal and biochemical exploitation of these vegetables residues could contribute to increase social, economic and environmental benefits in province of Jaen.
