  • The EN 1501-1 Standard establishes the list of dangers and risks that the waste collection vehicles and their associated elevation devices could cause, the requirements of security that should complete the compressing, discharge, lifting devices ... and the instructions for use that should be given by the manufacturer with the vehicle. In rear end loaded refuse collection vehicles that this standard regulates, waste is transferred manually or mechanically through the rave rail to the hopper. Subsequently, a compressing mechanism transfers and compacts waste from the hopper to the box of the truck. When the box is full, the rear wall of the box is opened in order to discharge the waste.
