    Although there was, since the middle of the nineteenth century, a real production of erotic literature in Portugal, the publishers of Spanish « literatura sicalíptica » will find in Portugal, but also in Brazil, a market where to sell part of their production. It is this circulation and translation of erotic and pornographic literature, covering the period 1886-1936, that we will bring to light, identifying some of their actors.

    Bien qu’il y ait eu une véritable production de littérature licencieuse au Portugal dès le milieu du XIXe siècle, les éditeurs de « literatura sicalíptica » espagnols vont trouver au Portugal, mais aussi au Brésil, un marché vers où écouler une partie de leur production. C’est cette circulation, en version originale et traduction, que nous mettrons au jour, en identifiant certains de leurs acteurs pour la période 1886-1936.
