  La presente investigación tuvo como finalidad analizar y denotar el impacto en los costos de transporte de contenedores desde el Puerto de Posorja hasta Guayaquil, ya que la distancia es cuatro veces mayor a la que recorren actualmente desde cualquiera de los puertos de Guayaquil hacia el cliente, sufriendo un incremento significativo en el valor final por flete de cada contenedor movilizado, impactando directamente a los costos finales de la mercadería o materia prima importada, así también se determinó que otros rubros se verán afectados si se trae los contendedores desde el puerto de Posorja. Entre los factores con impactos de mayor afectación a los importadores, también está el que deberá necesariamente realizar una restructuración a su logística en cuanto a horarios y procesos operativos, pues no necesariamente las cargas llegaran dentro del horario normal establecido.

  The purpose of this research was to analyze and denote the impact on container transport costs from the Port of Posorja to Guayaquil, since the distance is four times greater than the one that currently travel from any of the ports of Guayaquil to the client, suffering a significant increase in the final value for freight of each container moved, directly impacting the final costs of the merchandise or imported raw material, it was also determined that other items will be affected if the containers are brought from the port of Posorja. Among the factors with the greatest impact on importers, there is also the one that will necessarily have to restructure its logistics in terms of hours and operating processes, since loads will not necessarily arrive within the established normal schedule.
