De la ética del cuidado de sí a la propuesta crítica en foucault

    Gran parte de la obra de Foucault ha sido dedicada al desplazamiento concreto de la oficialidad, en lo que respecta a las verdades orientadas desde el poder, hacia un discurso alternativo, revelador, muy determinado. Este trabajo se empeña en exponer lo que en Foucault fue el tratamiento de las subjetividades, la ética, y las formas de subjetivación en la edad antigua, concretamente los períodos griego y greco-romano. A partir de dicha exégesis, y considerando los trabajos de Foucault en cursos y conferencias acerca de la crítica, la modernidad y la Ilustración, próximos a su muerte, me atrevo a proponer que hay cierto retorno a los griegos en tanto que una forma de asumir el mundo éticamente es configurando un ethos, que según mi sospecha, y la lectura de dos textos fundamentales, puede ser “la crítica" o el “dandismo".

    Great part of the work of Foucault has been dedicated to the concrete displacement of the official status, regarding the truths oriented from the power, towards a very determined alternative, revealing discourse. This work tries to, in an emphasized manner, to set out what in Foucault was the treatment of the subjectivities, the ethics, and the forms of subjetivation in the old age, concretely on the Greek and Greco-Reman periods. From this exegesis and taking into account the works of Foucault in courses and conferences about the critic, the modernity and the illustration, being next to his death, I dare to propase that there is certain return to the Greeks, whereas a form to assume the world ethically is to configure an ethos, that according to my suspicion, and the reading of two fundamental texts, can be “the critic" or the “dandyism".
