Resumen de Salud y enfermedad en un contexto de interculturalidad

El artículo hace parte de los resultados del proyecto de investigación titulado “Etnodesarrollo y Jaibanismo en el resguardo Embera Chamí Dachi Drua Mode del municipio de Ansermanuevo (Valle del Cauca)”, efectuado por 3 estudiantes del semillero de investigación en cultura y drogas, y del cual surgen sus respectivos trabajos de grado. El trabajo que se presenta son resultados de una investigación antropológica aplicada, que tiene la pretensión de explorar y enunciar las diferentes relaciones que se dan en torno a las concepciones de salud y enfermedad en un contexto intercultural de medicinas tradicionales, específicamente de tradición Embera Chamí, con respecto a la medicina alopática occidental, representada por el Hospital Santa Ana de los Caballeros (HOSAC), entidad encargada de atender la salud de los habitantes del municipio.

This article is part of the results of the research project entitled “Ethnodevelopment and Jaibanismo (a form of shamanism) in the Embera Chamí Drua Dachi Mode indigenous reservation located in the Ansermanuevo municipality (Valle del Cauca), carried out by 3 students, participants of the Culture and Drugs Research group, and which gave birth to their respective undergraduate dissertations. The present work is made up of the results of an applied anthropological research, aiming to explore and articulate the various relationships that exist around the conceptions of health and disease in an intercultural context of traditional medicines, particularly traditional Embera Chami medicine, regarding western allopathic medicine, represented by the Hospital Santa Ana de los Caballeros (HOSAC), entity responsible for the health of the inhabitants of the municipality.
