  • Resumen
    • The benefits of employing the virtual simulation tools tend to be amplified when applied at the initial stages of the project. In order to predict the loads acting on a component, a load generation methodology is used.

The suspension loads generated depend on a series of suspension and body characteristics. These characteristics are refined to suit ride, handling and fuel consumption targets. The focus of the present study is to evaluate the effects of these variations on the rear suspension durability using load generation DOE and Fatigue analyses. Through this understanding, an initial virtual prototype can be idealized.
