Sín “but” and mɛ̀ “really” are particles that are often found in conversations in the Fon language in the final position and whose reach extends over the entire utterance. The objective of this article is twofold, namely to demonstrate the identity of enunciative particles manifested by the sín "but" and mɛ̀ "really" particles in fon and to determine in the framework of Antoine Culioli’s Theory of Predicative and Enunciative Operations (TOPE) their specific contribution to the construction of the meaning of the utterances in which they appear.

Sín « mais » et mɛ̀ « vraiment » sont des particules que l’on retrouve souvent dans les conversations en langue fon en position finale et dont la portée s’étend sur l’ensemble de l’énoncé. L’objectif de cet article est double, à savoir démontrer l’identité de particules énonciatives que manifestent les particules sín « mais » et mɛ̀ « vraiment » en fon et déterminer selon la Théorie des Opérations Prédicatives et Enonciatives (TOPE) d’Antoine Culioli leur contribution spécifique à la construction du sens des énoncés où elles apparaissent.
