    En el presente trabajo me propongo reconstruir la concepción ontológica de la verdad de los libros v-vi de la República a la luz de la conceptuali- zación de la verdad predicativa del Sofista. Mi hipótesis interpretativa es que en ambos diálogos Platón distingue la verdad de sus condiciones de posibilidad, en especial, de su fundamento ontológico. Procuraré mostrar que las concepciones ontológica y predicativa de la verdad en el pensa- miento platónico son incompatibles porque se fundamentan en ontolo- gías diferentes

    This paper aims at reconstructing the ontological conception of truth in Republic v-vi in the light of the predicative conceptualization of truth developed in the Sophist. My interpretative hypothesis is that in both dialogues Plato distinguishes truth from its conditions of possibility, in particular, its ontological basis. I will try to show that the ontological and the predicative conceptions of truth in the platonic thought are incom- patible, due to their different ontological bases
