    La naturaleza es un concepto de gran recurrencia en toda la obra de Thomas Bernhard. Sin embargo, lejos de vehiculizar un espectro coherente y sólido, dicha recurrencia evidencia una variabilidad muchas veces sorprendente, que se da no solo de obra en obra sino en el interior del discurso de un mismo personaje. Este trabajo se propone estudiar algunos usos del concepto de naturaleza para reflexionar también sobre la propuesta estética bernhardiana. Para ello, será de enorme utilidad no solo la noción espacial que instaura la naturaleza sino, fundamentalmente, la construcción de relaciones que la vinculan con el arte y la praxis artística.

    Nature is a concept of great recurrence in the whole work of Thomas Bernhard. However, far from articulating a coherent and solid spectrum, this recurrence evidences an often surprising variability, which occurs not only from work to work but within the discourse of the same character. This article sets out to study some uses of the concept of Nature to also reflect on the Bernhardian aesthetic proposal. For this, not only the spatial notion that Nature establishes but, fundamentally, the construction of relationships that link Nature with art and artistic practice will be extremely useful.
