    Con el presente artículo se quieren dar a conocer los fundamentos relacionados con el fenómeno de cavitación en los sistemas de bombeo aplicados en la industria, para entender por qué el rendimiento de una bomba, las vibraciones en las tuberías y el ruido en el sistema son una consecuencia del anterior fenómeno.

    With this article we want to present the fundamentals related to the phenomenon of cavitation in the pumping systems used in the industry to understand why the performance of a pump vibration in the pipes and the noise in the system are a consequence the above phenomenon, in which different fluids can be transported and the geometry of the pipes is associated with cavitation.
