Resumen de Guadalajara, un rostro desdibujado

  En este análisis se abordan dos dificultades persistentes de la ciudad de Guadalajara, Jalisco, México derivadas de la pérdida del patrimonio arquitectónico de su centro histórico y la reproducción centenaria de patrones de exclusión social por vivir al oriente o al poniente de esa urbe. Para ello, con un enfoque interdisciplinario se examinan a fondo las causas y consecuencias de estos dos ámbitos de dilemas complejos y arraigados. Se estima necesario formular una propuesta de solución que involucre el diseño y operación de una página web basada en mapas y señalizaciones, que pueda ser codificada y consultada fácilmente por jóvenes entre 15 y 30 años. Se busca reconstruir la fisonomía física de calles y edificaciones extintas para ese segmento de la población y hacer parodia de los comportamientos típicos, imaginario e idiosincrasia de los moradores que viven en uno u otro lado de la ciudad.

  This analysis addresses two persistent difficulties in the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. One, which derives from the rapid loss of the architectural heritage of its historic center and the other which emerges from centuries-old reproduction of patterns of social exclusion just due to the fact of unhabitants living to the east or west of that city. For such puerpose, it is examined in depth the causes and consequences of these two complex and entrenched problems from an interdisciplinary approach, arriving to the conclusion it is necessary to formulate a dual proposal consisting on the design and operation of a web page based on maps and signs (that can be easily codified and consulted by young people between 15 and 30 years old). A web page that allows to reconstruct for this segment of the population the physical physiognomy of transformed streets and destroyed buildings. And on the other hand, to make a parody of the typical behaviors, imaginary and idiosyncrasies of the residents who live on one side or the other of the city
