Resumen de Creación del centro de astrobiología – CAB

En este artículo se analizan los hechos más resaltables sobre la creación del Centro de Astrobiología (CAB) con sede en el INTA (Torrejón de Ardoz – Madrid), principalmente durante el periodo de su auténtica implantación y operatividad (2001-2003). El CAB es un centro tecnológico y científico cuyo objeto principal es el estudio del origen de la vida en la Tierra y la posibilidad de cualquier tipo de vida en otros planetas. El CAB está asociado a la NASA y depende del Instituto de Técnica Aeroespacial (INTA) y del Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC).

This article discusses the most noteworthy facts about the creation of the INTA-based Center for Astrobiology (CAB) (Torrejón de Ardoz – Madrid), mainly during the period of its authentic implementation and operability (2001-2003). Cab is a technological and scientific center whose main purpose is the study of the origin of life on Earth and the possibility of any kind of life on other planets. The CAB is associated with NASA and is under the Aerospace Technique Institute (INTA) and the Higher Council for Scientific Research (CSIC).
