Resumen de El trabajo infantil en El Salvador

El presente artículo tiene como finalidad realizar una revisión de la normativa nacional e internacional ratificada por el Estado Salvadoreño y de las acciones positivas para abordar la temática en análisis; todo ello, para conocer los avances y desafíos en este tema, en el marco del año internacional de erradicación del trabajo infantil. Tomando en consideración los efectos de la pandemia por Covid-19 en la sociedad salvadoreña y que pueden repercutir en los derechos de la niñez y adolescencia. Para concluir en la necesidad de retomar acciones institucionales con la participación del Estado a través de sus instituciones competentes, sector empresarial y la sociedad en general, con el objetivo de trabajar en la erradicación del trabajo infantil en El Salvador y la permanencia de las acciones que se han desarrollado a la fecha. Para ello se ha utilizado en esta investigación jurídica metodología de carácter cualitativo -reflexivo, que permitirá analizar diversos instrumentos para definir la problemática en análisis y el impacto de la misma, para concluir en la prioridad de crear mecanismos legales e institucionales que respondan a la problemática desde su origen y de una manera holística.

The purpose of this article is to carry out a review of the national and international regulations ratified by the Salvadoran State and of the positive actions to address the issue in analysis; all this, to know the progress and challenges in this area, within the framework of the International Year for the eradication of Child Labor. Taking into consideration the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on Salvadoran society and which may have an impact on the rights of children and adolescents. To conclude on theneed to resume institutional actions with the participation of the State through its competent in general, with the aim of working on the eradication of child labor in El Salvador and the continuation of actions that have been developed to date. For this purpose, methodology of a qualitative –reflective nature has been used in this legal research, which will allow analyzing various instruments to define the problem under analysis and its impact, to conclude in the priority of creating legal and institutional mechanisms that respond to the problem from its origin and in a holistic way.
