    El presente artículo explora la manera en que la perspectiva pragmadialéctica de la argumentación, a través de su código de conducta para discutidores razonables, coadyuva a orientar el actuar razonable del legislador, al exhortarlo a considerar la relevancia la libertad discursiva, así como la debida argumentación en la labor legislativa.

    Se estima que la razonabilidad del legislador es significativa para favorecer la confianza de la población en los integrantes del órgano legislativo, así como contar con leyes debidamente sustentadas por un aparato argumentativo, acorde a las exigencias del Estado de Derecho.

    This paper aims to explore the way in which the pragmadialectic perspective of argumentation may guide the reasonable acting of law makers. It is noteworthy the code of conduct for reasonable discussants, which encourages law makers to consider the relevance of the discursive liberty, along with the due argumentation in the legislative labor.  It is estimated that the reasonableness of the law maker is significant in gaining the confidence of the population in the members of the legislative body, as well as having laws duly supported by an argumentative apparatus, in accordance with the requirements of the Rule of Law.
