  En los procesos penales existe la necesidad de brindar protección a los testigos ante posibles represalias, uno de estos métodos implica el uso del testigo de identidad reservada, del cual la defensa y el acusado desconocen su identidad, por lo que resulta importante determinar si este tipo de testigo limita o no el ejercicio del derecho de defensa.

  In criminal proceedings there is a need to provide protection to witnesses against possible reprisals, one of these methods involves the use of the reserved identity witness, of which the defense and the accused are unaware of their identity, so it is important to determine if this type of a witness limits the exercise of the right of defense or not.
