AbstractThis research aims at contributing to understand the changes occurred within the employment conditions in Argentina in the last decades. Because the field of study is so vast, we decided to approach it from a specific edge:investigating those transformations that took place in the hiring of the workforce in Argentina which provide a legal framework for the capital-labour relation in our country. To develop this analysis, we considered employment in the Argentine State in recent decades as a study case. Some of the questions we have intended to answer are: How has employment relationship between the State and public employees changed? Which distinctions within the working class have become established in recent decades? How has the process of outsourcing made an impact on the largest employer in Argentina?
