Resumen de Biodiversidad como un concepto estructurante urgente en la educación

La constante y acelerada pérdida de la biodiversidad biológica está llevando a una emergencia planetaria sin precedentes en la historia humana, que afectaa todas las especies del planeta.La deforestación, sobrexplotación de fauna, flora y recursos naturales, contaminación de los ecosistemas,consumismo desmedidoysin sentido, la trasferencia de especies exóticasyla variación global del clima, son las causasprincipales. Estas problemáticas se pueden encarar desde la educación. En este sentido concebirla biodiversidad como un concepto estructurante, cuya construcción transforma el sistema cognitivo, permitiendo adquirir nuevos conocimientos, tomar decisiones informadas, propositivas y críticas en torno las problemáticas que amenazan la biodiversidadse hace evidentemente necesario. Desde esta perspectiva este artículomuestra la implementación inicial del proyectobiodiversidad como un concepto estructurante urgente en la educaciónen el Colegio Técnico Palermo (IED) desde una actividad que se está desarrollando con los estudiantes.El articulo estádividido en tres partes,primero, se argumenta sobre como la biodiversidad es el recurso más importantey amenazadode las sociedades, segundo, se desarrollan aspectos dela biodiversidad como un concepto estructurante y tercero,se ejemplificacómo se podría asumir la enseñanza de la biodiversidaddesde una situación didácticacomo un concepto estructurantey como podría guiar a otros docentes e nvestigadores que estén interesados en esta líneade investigación. Por último,se desarrollan algunas consideraciones que respaldan la tesis planteada en el título.

The constant and accelerated loss of biological diversity is leading to a planetary emergency unprecedented in human history, which affects not only our species but all forms of life on Earth. Deforestation, overexploitation of fauna, flora and natural resources, contamination of ecosystems, excessive and senseless consumerism, introduction of invasive species and climate change are the main causes. These problems can be addressed from education. In this sense, conceiving biodiversity as a structuring concept, whose construction transforms the cognitive system, allowing to acquire new knowledge, make informed, purposeful and critical decisions about the problems that threaten biodiversity is obviously necessary. From this perspective, this article shows the initial implementation of the biodiversity project as an urgent structuring concept in education at the Palermo Technical College (IED) from an activity that is being developed with the students. The article is divided into three parts, first, it argues about how biodiversity is the most important and threatened resource of societies, second, aspects of biodiversity are developed as a structuring concept and third, it is exemplified how teaching could be assumed. of biodiversity from didactic situationas astructuring concept and how could guide other teachers and researchers who are interested in this line of research. Finally, some final considerations are developed
