Esta necrología se centra en el poeta Antonio Martínez de Sarrión, cuyos primeros poemas fueron aprobados por Jaime Gil de Biedma, entre otros examinadores. A lo largo del texto se explica la polaridad de cuatro tipos de España, en los que se veía inmerso el escritor desde su juventud. Se convirtió en una suerte de vanguardista de los ancestros, una especie de “cosmopolita costumbrista” que sabía mezclar armónicamente las distintas perspectivas que en el país, por entonces, estaban enfrentadas. En sus obras y su carácter fue siempre terruñero y siguió su propio camino, tal y como muestran sus publicaciones, su estilo único y su trayectoria vital. En esta necrología se resume todo ello y se destacan las obras más importantes.

This necrology focuses on the poet Antonio Martínez de Sarrión, whose first poems were approved by Jaime Gil de Biedma, among other examiners. Throughout the text, the polarity of four types of Spain is explained, in which the writer was immersed from his youth. He became a kind of a vanguard of the ancestors, a kind of "cosmopolitan costumbrist" who knew how to harmoniously mix the different perspectives that in the country, at that time, were facing each other. In his works and his character, he was always a local and he followed his own path, as his publications, his unique style and his life trajectory show. This obituary summarizes all this and highlights his most important works.
