Un thème, deux thèmes, un préambule ? Intonation, geste et morphosyntaxe dans le dialogue oral en français

    Dividing a sentence of spoken laguage into topic and comment raises the issue of multidimentional nature of speech, which requires an analysis of morphological cues, intonation pattern, mimics and gestures. It requires also a theory of dialogue . The goal of this paper is to show how the speaker and the listener are implied in making homogeneous the thematic constituents of the preamble to the intonational paragraph.

    La délimitation du thème dans les corpus d’oral spontané nécessite la prise en compte de la dimension multimodale de la parole et l’analyse conjointe des indices morphologiques, intonatifs et mimico-gestuels. Elle nécessite également une théorie du dialogue comme co-énonciation et co-locution. L’article montre comment celui qui parle et celui qui écoute sont impliqués dans l’homogénéisation des constituants thématiques qui constituent le préambule du paragraphe oral.
