A produção científica sobre a motivação no serviço público: um estudo bibliométrico

    A proposta deste estudo é explorar o status de pesquisa e tendência de desenvolvimento do campo sobre motivação no serviço público por meio de uma análise bibliométrica de publicações acadêmicas. Para viabilização deste estudo foi utilizada a metodologia ProKnow-C que permitiu realizar comparações e análises bibliométricas. Os dados secundários foram extraídos de duas bases científicas: a Web of Science e a Periódicos CAPES. Conforme sugere a metodologia, foi elaborado um Portifólio Bibliográfico contendo os resultados das consultas às referidas bases. Assim, foram obtidos um quantitativo de 296 artigos, os quais subsidiaram a realização deste estudo. O trabalho ilustra o status de pesquisa sobre capital humano no ambiente de trabalho e, com isso, permite que seja verificada consonância com os preceitos das organizações públicas. Achados atualizados são relatados, o que pode auxiliar pesquisadores a entender a tendência da pesquisa, contribuir para a busca de colaboradores científicos e, otimizar as escolhas de tópicos de pesquisa.

    The purpose of this study is to explore the research status and developmental trend of the current on motivation in the public service through a bibliometric analysis of academic publications. In order to make this study viable, the ProKnow-C methodology was used to make comparisons and bibliometric analyzes. The secondary data were extracted from two scientific bases: the Web of Science and Periódicos CAPES. As suggested by the methodology, a Bibliographic Portfolio containing the results of the consultations to these bases was elaborated, obtaining 296 articles, which supported the study. The work illustrates the research status of human capital in the work environment and thus allows it to be verified consistent with the precepts of public organizations. Updated findings are reported, which may help researchers understand the trend of research, contribute to the search for scientific collaborators, and optimize the choice of research topics.
