Resumen de La Danimarca delle Regioni

Bent Ole Gram Mortensen

  • The essay discusses the regional division of Denmark. Denmark itself is part of the Kingdom of Denmark, to which the small countries Greenland and the Faroe Islands also belongs. Denmark is divided into Regions and each Region into Municipalities. A distribution of tasks has been established between the State, Region and Municipality. This is not an actual hiraki. The essay examines the legal framework for Regions and Municipalities. This includes the constitutional basis, distribution of tasks, management and organizational structure, election of members to the councils, financing, state supervision and public enterprises. Finally, the essay touches upon the extensive centralization that has taken place since 1970.
