The article stages a representation of the complexity of the neo-paganism phenomenon through the comparative analysis of two antithetical social actors’ standpoints on crypto-currencies. On the one hand, the cypherwitches, a current of post-modern feminist neo-witchcraft that favourably promotes the digital market as a way of social and individual empowerment; secondly, the Thule Italia association, a National Socialist publisher inspired by Germanic paganism which conversely criticises crypto-currencies as tools of suprastate financial powers
