Resumen de La contribución de las enseñanzas sociales y de los intelectuales católicos en la recuperación del derecho natural del siglo XX

El presente trabajo trata de responder a la pregunta por el alcance y naturaleza de la contribución que el pensamiento social católico tuvo en la recuperación del derecho natural acontecida en el siglo XX. Se estudian como fuentes los textos magisteriales que dieron inicio a la doctrina social de la Iglesia. Así como las aportaciones de intelectuales católicos especialmente del primer tercio de siglo. El trabajo sigue el método historiográfico en cuanto a las fuentes y el analítico-crítico en cuanto a su interpretación. En las conclusiones se recoge el modo en que estas fuentes contribuyeron al auge y recuperación de la escuela iusnaturalista clásica de la mano del tomismo por una parte, y de una nueva reinterpretación del iusnaturalismo por parte del personalismo cristiano, por otra. Asimismo, se pone énfasis en el desarrollo de los principios de la doctrina social de la Iglesia como desarrollo original del derecho natural aplicado a la cuestión social.

The present work tries to answer the questions about the scope and the nature of the contribution that Catholic social thought had in the recovery of the Classic iusnaturalism that occurred in the 20th century. The sources that are studied embrace the magisterial texts that gave rise to the social doctrine of the Church, as well as the contributions of Catholic intellectuals, especially of those from the fi rst third of the century. The work follows the historiographical method in the use of bibliographical sources and applies the analytical-critical method in the task of texts interpretation. The conclusions show the way in which these sources contributed to the rise of the classical natural law school thanks to the recovery of classic Thomism on the one hand, and a new re-interpretation of the iusnaturalism by the Christian personalism, on the other. Likewise, emphasis is placed on the development of the principles of the social doctrine of the Church as an original development of natural law applied to the social question.
