  • Resumen
    • The name of Legal Nihilism was recently given to the reinterpretation proposed by a well-known Italian jurist, Natalino Irti, of the leading characteristics of modern law, which in many respects overlap the ones elaborated autonomously by the sociology of law in the course of its own history. What this convergence suggests to the author is that there is a need to reappraise the routes followed respectively by Irti, whose starting point is located within the edifice of official legal culture, and by the sociology of law, which sets out from clear critical intentions of that same culture to verify correspondences and differences, in the light of a possible interpretation of law that might take both points of view into account.
