  El trauma cerrado con lesión de aorta torácica es una entidad poco común, pero con alta morbimortalidad para el paciente. Por esta razón, el diagnóstico, clasificación y escogencia terapéutica representan un reto para el médico tratante. En el presente artículo se describe el caso de un paciente masculino sin antecedentes patologicos que sufre una precipitación desde 4m de altura en quien se documenta un pseudoaneurisma en aorta descendente secundaria al trauma.

  The blunt thoracic aortic injury is a rare entity, but it carries a high morbimortality. For this reason, the diagnosis, classification and management represent a challenge for the physician. The present article describes the case of a previously healthy male patient, who suffers a fall from 4m and in which a pseudoaneurysm in the descending aorta secondary to the trauma is identified.
