Resumen de Modos de ser menina: as ficções sociais na cultura visual e na escola

  Considering the need to reflect on the images that surround us on a daily basis and how they build ways of being and in the world, the article presents reflections on images produced by girls during a workshop held at a municipal school in the city of Vitória. Based on the theoretical assumption of Visual Culture and feminist theorists, it presents notes on the social fictions surrounding the ways of being a girl and how they construct norms for bodies, behaviors and social practices in the female universe, throu-gh images. It points out, from the analysis of the productions made by elementary school students, the importance of an education for visual culture so that our practices of seeing are transformed into critical and interpretive readings of themselves and the world.

  Considerando a necessidade de refletir sobre as imagens que nos cercam cotidianamente e como elas constroem modos de ser e estar no mundo, o artigo apresenta reflexões sobre imagens produzidas por meninas durante uma oficina realizada em uma escola municipal do município de Vitória. Partindo do pressuposto teórico da Cultura Visual e de teóricas feministas, apresenta apontamentos sobre as ficções sociais em torno dos modos de ser menina e como essas constroem normatizações de corpos, comportamentos e práticas sociais do universo feminino, por meio das imagens. Aponta, a partir das análises das produções elaboradas por alunas do ensino fundamental, a importância de uma educação para a cultura visual de modo que as nossas práticas do ver sejam transformadas em leituras críticas e interpretativas de si e do mundo.
