    La composición de la empresa familiar debe estar orientada a la interacción de los sistemas familiar y empresarial, al concurrir intereses divergentes que deben aunarse en aras de preservar la continuidad de la empresa familiar. El equilibrio entre los intereses de la familia y la gestión diligente del negocio deben estar presentes al diseñar una buena estructura de gobierno corporativo, adaptada a las características única de la empresa familiar. Una estructura corporativa empresarial y familiar eficiente será una salvaguarda para la empresa familiar ante futuros escenarios conflictivos que pongan a prueba su estabilidad y continuidad.

    The composition of the family business must be orientated towards both, the interaction between the family and the business systems, in order to preserve the stability and continuity of the family business when divergent interests arise. A balance between the family’s» interests and diligent business management must be present when designing an effective corporate governance structure. This structure should be tailored to suit the unique characteristics and needs of the family business. An efficient business and family corporate structure will provide the family business with a robust safeguard in the event of any potential conflictive scenarios that could jeopardise its future stability and continuity.
