Resumen de Economía creativa y rezago social. El caso del estado de Oaxaca, México, 2000-2020

  La economía creativa es considerada como una estrategia para impulsar el desarrollo inclusivo y equilibrado, teniendo como eje estratégico al potencial cultural de cada región. Alineado a esta perspectiva, el objetivo del artículo es analizar la relación entre la economía creativa y el rezago social de 17 municipios de Oaxaca, México, durante el período 2000-2020. Para ello se utiliza una metodología cuantitativa a través del diseño de dos indicadores con información documentada de instituciones gubernamentales. Se propone como hipótesis que, dentro del período de estudio, la economía creativa tuvo un efecto positivo y significativo en la reducción del rezago social en los municipios de estudio. Y luego de aplicar métodos de estadística descriptiva y regresión, se obtiene una alta asociación entre ambas variables, demostrando que la economía creativa influyó en la reducción del rezago social de los municipios de estudio. Información valiosa para futuras investigaciones en materia de economía creativa.

  The creative economy is considered as a strategy to promote inclusive and balanced development, with the cultural potential of each region as its strategic axis. Aligned to this perspective, the objective of the article is to analyze the relationship between the creative economy and the social backwardness of 17 municipalities of Oaxaca, Mexico, during the period 2000-2020. For this, a quantitative methodology is used through the design of two indicators with documented information from government institutions. It is proposed as a hypothesis that, within the study period, the creative economy had a positive and significant effect on the reduction of social backwardness in the study municipalities. And after applying descriptive statistics and regression methods, a high association between both variables is obtained, demonstrating that the creative economy influenced the reduction of the social backwardness of the study municipalities.
