    Recogemos en este artículo la breve correspondencia que los escritores y políticos talaveranos Eduardo y Ernesto López-Parra intercambiaron con Benito Pérez Galdós. Dicha correspondencia gira sobre todo en torno a las cualidades literarias que el joven Ernesto pudiera atesorar, asunto sobre el que su padre inquiere al autor de Marianela. En el epistolario aparece también un poema primerizo de Ernesto López-Parra. Acompañamos dicho epistolario con un estudio introductorio y varias notas que pretenden aclarar el contexto en que se produce la comunicación. Añadimos al final un par de artículos del joven autor talaverano dedicados a quien considera su maestro.

    We collect in this article the short correspondence that the writers and politics from Talavera Eduardo and Ernesto López-Parra maintained with Benito Pérez Galdós, This correspondence revolves above all around the literary qualities that the young Ernesto could treasure, a matter about which his father questions the author of Marianela. A first-time poem by Ernesto López-Parra also appears in the epistolary. We accompany this epistolary with an introductory study and several notes that aim to clarify the context in which the communication occurs. At the end we add a couple of articles by the young Talavera author dedicated to whom he considers his teacher.
