La "Vita Christi" d'Isabel de Villena, text que es pot considerar com un manual didàctic i catequètic adreçat a les monges de la Trinitat, és un exemple de la influència de l'espiritualitat importada de la "devotio moderna". En aquestes pàgines es presenta una lectura comparada d'aspectes hagiogràfics amb "l'Spill" de Jaume Roig, amb la particularitat que ofereix cadascun dels textos, però sempre, al capdavall, convergint en un propòsit didàctic i moralitzant, al servei d'assegurar en el receptor la salvació espiritual.

"The Vita Christi" by Isabel de Villena, a text that can be considered a didactic and catechetical textbook addressed to the nuns of the Trinity, is an example of the influence of the imported spirituality of "devotio moderna". In these pages, a comparative reading of hagiographic aspects is presented with the "Spill" of Jaume Roig, with the paricularity that offers each one of the texts, but always, obviously, converging in a didactic and moralizing purpose, to the service to assure in the receiver of spiritual salvation.
