    La artroplastia de rodilla está consiguiendo muy buenos resultados funcionales en la gran mayoría de los pacientes, sin embargo, a pesar de ello, es importante retrasar lo máximo posible su colocación hasta el final de la vida laboral activa y evaluar paciente a paciente el tipo específico de prótesis a emplear, para así obtener un mejor resultado funcional y mayor sobrevida de la artroplastia.

    Knee arthroplasty is achieving very good functional results in the vast majority of patients, however, despite this, it is important to delay as long as possible its placement until the end of active working life and to evaluate patient by patient the specific type of prosthesis to be used, in order to obtain a better functional result and greater survival of the arthroplasty.
