Resumen de Dinámica comercial, empleo y salarios en la industria automotriz en el marco de la renegociación hacia el T-MEC

  El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo principal evaluar el comportamiento en el flujo comercial y el empleo en la industria automotriz entre México, Estados Unidos y Canadá en el marco temporal de la vigencia del Tratado de Libre Comercio de América del Norte (TLCAN) y su efecto en la renegociación hacia el nuevo T-MEC; por lo que incorpora el análisis de las variables macroeconómicas de importaciones, exportaciones, empleo y salarios; así como de la política arancelaria del nuevo acuerdo comercial, en específico, en los temas relativos al valor de contenido regional (VCR) y valor del contenido laboral (VCL). La metodología es de tipo cuantitativa, por lo que se fundamenta principalmente en los datos de las variables estudiadas para los tres países de la región del TLCAN, cuyo origen son las estadísticas oficiales del INEGI, Statistics Canadá, U.S. Census Bureau Economic Indicators y U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics

  The main objective of this work is to evaluate the behavior in the commercial flow and employment in the automotive industry between Mexico, the United States and Canada in the time frame of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and its effect in the renegotiation towards the new T-MEC. Therefore, it incorporates the analysis of the macroeconomic variables of imports, exports, employment and wages; as well as the tax policy of the new trade agreement, specifically, on issues related to regional value content (RVC) and labor content value (LCV). The methodology is quantitative, so it is based mainly on the data of the variables studied for the three countries of the NAFTA region, which origin is the official statistics of INEGI, Statistics Canada, U.S. Census Bureau Economic Indicators and U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
