This article intends to analyze the participation of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB) in the movement for Amnesty. I will therefore make a brief history of the entity and the emergence of the fight for amnesty in the civil-military dictatorship. Finally, I will make a survey of the action of the OAB in relation to the subject of amnesty and the analysis of the Federal Council’s opinion on the draft Amnesty Law made by the government in 1979.

Este artigo pretende analisar a participação da Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil (OAB) no movimento pela Anistia. Farei, para tanto, um breve histórico da entidade e do surgimento da luta pela anistia na ditadura civil-militar. Finalmente, farei um levantamento da atuação da OAB em relação ao tema da anistia e a análise do parecer do Conselho Federal ao projeto de Lei de Anistia feito pelo governo em 1979.
