Resumen de Internet como medio de transformación en el proceso educativo en las comunidades de la Región Autónoma Costa Caribe sur de Nicaragua

  Las Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación (TIC) e Internet son factores disruptivos dentro de los sistemas educativos; sin embargo, la brecha digital evita lograr la transformación educativa deseada. La presente investigación se realizó con el objetivo de exponer la brecha digital en la que conviven los sistemas educativos de las comunidades que tienen mínimo o ningún acceso a estas tecnologías, debido a su ubicación geográfica. Se realizó en 2 de los 12 municipios de la Región Autónoma Costa Caribe Sur (RACCS) de Nicaragua, los municipios seleccionados fueron Bluefields y Pearl Lagoon. El estudio fue descriptivo con enfoque cualitativo, la muestra se conformó de 180 aprendientes. Los resultados permitieron identificar el estado de la brecha digital de las comunidades de la RACCS e indicadores claros ante la reducción de la brecha digital del sistema educativo en estas comunidades, dando pautas claras del reto que tenemos ante la transformación educativa mediante el Internet.

  Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and the Internet are disruptive factors in educational systems; however, the digital divide prevents achieving the desired educational transformation. This research was carried out with the objective of exposing the digital gap in which the educational systems of communities with minimal or no access to these technologies coexist, due to their geographical location. It was conducted in 2 of the 12 municipalities of the South Caribbean Coast Autonomous Region (RACCS) of Nicaragua, the selected municipalities were Bluefields and Pearl Lagoon. The study was descriptive with a qualitative approach; the sample consisted of 180 trainees. The results made it possible to identify the state of the digital gap in the communities of the RACCS and clear indicators to reduce the digital gap of the educational system in these communities, giving clear guidelines of the challenge we face in the educational transformation through the Internet.
