    Este artículo refiere a una comunidad indígena de la familia lingüística Guarani, más exactamente se trata de una comunidad Mbya Guarani, denominada Tekoha Ka'aguy Porâ, asentada en una reserva forestal, ubicada a 100 kilómetros de General Resquín, y a 40 kilómetros de Villa Ygatimi (Departamento de Kanindeju). En el sitio se observaron y registraron las costumbres, tradiciones y otros patrones de conducta que culturalmente caracterizan a la mencionada comunidad, que aún mantiene la cultura tradicional. Así, puntualmente, cuestiones relacionadas a su religión, sus implementos consuetudinarios como la maraca (mbaraka) y la tacuara (takua) y el ritual diario de plegarias y danzas (ñembo'e jeroky) que se realiza en el templo (opy / óga guasu). Además, de otros aspectos vinculados a la alimentación, la vestimenta y la organización social. Sin embargo, más allá de la situación de la Comunidad Ka'aguy Porâ, son numerosas las otras comunidades que diariamente son desalojadas de sus tierras ancestrales y alejadas de las mismas y hoy pasan por un implacable y constante proceso de degradación cultural, que arriesga la pervivencia de las propias comunidades indígenas del Paraguay.

    This article refers to an indigenous community of the Guarani language family, more precisely a Mbya Guarani community, called Tekoha Ka'aguy Porâ, settled in a forest reserve, located 100 kilometers from General Resquín, and 40 kilometers from Villa Ygatimí (Kanindeju Department). In the site, the customs, traditions and other behavior patterns that culturally characterize the mentioned community were observed and registered, and noted that they still maintain their traditional culture. Thus, especifically, issues related to their religion, their customary implements such as the maraca (mbaraka) and tacuara (takua) and the daily ritual of prayers and dances (ñembo'e jeroky) that is performed in the temple (opy / oga guasu) were documented. In addition, it presents other aspects related to food, clothing and social organization. However, beyond the situation of the Ka'aguy Porâ Community, there are numerous other communities that are daily being evicted from their ancestral lands and sent far away from them, and today are going through a relentless and constant process of cultural degradation, which risks the survival of the indigenous communities of Paraguay
