    Este trabajo se centra en la etapa inicial del proceso de incorporación de las mujeres al ejercicio de la docencia en las primeras facultades que formaron parte de la Universidad Central de Madrid, desde el momento en que la legislación lo posibilitó, en 1910, hasta el fin de la guerra civil. Se han analizado las circunstan- cias y factores que posibilitaron el acceso de las mujeres a la docencia teniendo en cuenta las contribuciones precedentes a través de una profunda revisión bibliográ- fica y se ha elaborado un listado exhaustivo de profesoras clasificado por faculta- des que recupera y amplía los datos obtenidos en otras investigaciones, resultado de nuevas indagaciones en los archivos históricos.

    This paper focuses on the initial stage of the process of incorporating women into the practice of teaching in the first faculties which formed part of the Central University of Madrid, from the time when legislation made it possible, in 1910, until the end of the Civil War. The circumstances and factors that made women's access to teaching possible have been analysed, taking into account previous contributions through an in-depth bibliographical review, and an exhaustive list of women professors has been drawn up, classified by faculty, which recovers and extends the data obtained in other research through new explorations in the historical archives.
