Este artículo aborda la relación entre la novela, el cine y la ciudad para reinterpretar los imaginarios sobre la modernización de la Ciudad de México entre 1940 y 1970, por medio de una metodología diseñada con base al análisis intertextual y al Método de la Hermenéutica Profunda. Par ello, se estudian tres películas mexicanas: El complot mongol, Mariana, Mariana, y Novia que te vea, y las novelas de donde fueron adaptadas. Además, se tiene el propósito de analizar la modernización de esta urbe durante este periodo, donde se consolidó un contexto sociohistórico con un férreo control del Estado.
This article addresses the relationship between the novel, the cinema and the city to reinterpret the imaginaries about the modernization of Mexico City between 1940 and 1970, through a methodology designed based on intertextual analysis and the Deep Hermeneutics Method. For this reason, three Mexican films are studied: El complot mongol, Mariana, Mariana, and Novia que te vea, and the novels from which they were adapted. In addition, the purpose is to analyze the modernization of this city during this period, where a sociohistorical context was consolidated with a tight control of the State.
