Resumen de Análise da narrativa do Jornal Nacional sobre o lançamento da proposta de reforma trabalhista

This paper analyses the report broadcast by Jornal Nacional, Globo TV's news programme, on December 22, 2016, regarding the launch, by the Brazilian former President Michel Temer,of the labour reform proposal. The Critical Narrative Analysis method was used to understand the communication relationship between the narrator and his viewers concerning this specific story by Globo TV news, the most watched news programme in Brazil. To achieve this, the narrative and the episodes in question were reconstructed. The paper also examines conflicts, connexions and the role of news personalities.This approach delineates the narrative logic and argumentative strategy adopted in the television content analysed. Metanarratives, which permeate the reportage as background, are also included in this analysis.

Este trabalho realiza a análise da reportagem relativa ao lançamento da proposta de reforma trabalhista apresentada pelo governo do então presidente Michel Temer, veiculada no Jornal Nacional de 22 de dezembro de 2016. Para tanto, empregou-se a Análise Crítica da Narrativa como método para apreender a relação comunicativa entre narrador e telespectador inerente à reportagem sob exame, veiculada pelo telejornal de maior audiência no Brasil. Para cumprir esse objetivo, recompõem-se a narrativa e os episódios que a integram. Também se examinamos conflitos conexos e os papéis dos personagens da reportagem. Delineia-se, ainda, a lógica narrativa e a estratégia argumentativa adotadas no material jornalístico analisado. Por fim, metanarrativas, que permeiam a reportagem como pano de fundo, também são objeto da análise.
