  • The article deals with a document drawn up by a group of Orthodox theologians who criticize the support of the Moscow Church for the war against Ukraine. They stress that arguments used by Patriarch Kirill are entirely consistent with ethnoreligious fundamentalism, betraying the Christian evangelical spirit. From a comparative perspective, with similar political and religious movements present in the great world religions, the author puts forward a series of perplexities about the possibility of applying the notion of fundamentalism to the Orthodox case as well
