  Se procesó el objetivo discrecionalidad de la junta cantonal de protección de derechos y las medidas administrativas de protección. En cuanto al tipo de investigación es documental descriptivo con diseño bibliográfico. La importancia del principio de legalidad en el ámbito de aplicación de medidas de protección emergentes, en este caso las Juntas Cantonales de Protección de Derechos, al ser organismos administrativos deben sujetarse a este principio, pero en observancia de la normativa conexa y superior que motive cada una de las actuaciones.

  The objective of the study was the discretionality of the cantonal board for the protection of rights and the administrative measures of protection. As for the type of research, it is descriptive documentary with bibliographic design. The importance of the principle of legality in the scope of application of emerging protection measures, in this case the Cantonal Boards of Protection of Rights, being administrative bodies must be subject to this principle, but in observance of the related and higher regulations that motivate each of the actions.
