    El trabajo autónomo está regulado por los organismos rectores de la Educación Superior en Ecuador; por ende se reviste de importancia en el proceso educativo de cada uno de los estudiantes de las carreras que ofertan las universidades del país, ante este escenario es necesario que los docentes como tal consideren la importancia que tiene en la formación de los estudiantes y el valor académico con el que aportan en el conocimiento de los profesionales en formación; el desarrollo, planificación y fines del trabajo autónomo están en estricta convergencia con el perfil de egreso de los estudiantes; sin embargo es lo que se supone en teoría; pero al revisar la forma de plantear la tarea complementaria, está no aporta en alto grado a los objetivos de la profesión; por lo tanto el objetivo de la  investigación es la incidencia de los trabajos autónomos en la construcción de conocimientos de los estudiantes de la carrera de Ingeniería Agropecuaria se llevó a cabo a través de la aplicación de técnicas de investigación, de los cuales se obtuvieron datos que permitieron concluir adecuadamente en torno a la temática.

    Self-employment is regulated by the governing bodies of Higher Education in Ecuador; therefore it is of importance in the educational process of each of the students of the careers offered by the country's universities, in this scenario it is necessary that teachers as such consider the importance it has in the training of students and the value academic with which they contribute to the knowledge of professionals in training; the development, planning and goals of autonomous work are in strict convergence with the graduation profile of the students; however, it is what is supposed in theory; but when reviewing the way of approaching the complementary task, it does not contribute to a high degree to the objectives of the profession; Therefore, the objective of the research is the incidence of autonomous work in the construction of knowledge of the students of the Agricultural Engineering career. It was carried out through the application of research techniques, from which data were obtained that allowed to conclude adequately around the theme.
