La otredad de la nada

    En este trabajo se hace una revisión puntual de la sexta hipótesis del Parménides II (163c-164b) de Platón. Se pretende explorar un sendero aparentemente absurdo: la nada llevada al extremo, para lo cual se hace una revisión de las categorías que el pensador pretende aplicar a tal “realidad”. La finalidad es evidenciar el espejo racional con el que se debería pensar un uno inexistente e inexpresable, lo cual lleva a tener que plantear lugares de intermediación y pluralidad, porque el extremo contrario, el uno absoluto, tampoco resulta una ruta adecuada. Para concluir se propone al menos insinuar el posible lugar de una filosofía pensada desde fuera de los espacios esperables de poder, es decir, más allá de lo uno, pero también de lo no-uno, porque la diferencia que este supone en última instancia resulta tan negativa como aquel.

    This paper does a detailed revision of the sixth hypothesis of Plato’s Parmenides II (163c–164b). Its aim is to explore a seemingly absurd path: the absolute nothingness. For this purpose, this work analyses the categories the philosopher pretended to apply to this “reality”. The object of the analysis is to evince the rational mirror from which an inexistent and inexpressible one should be thought. This obliges to propose places of intermediation and plurality, for the other extreme, the absolute one, does not represent an appropriate route. To conclude, the analysis pretends, at least, to suggest the potential place of a philosophy thought from the outside of the expectable spaces of power, in other words, beyond the one but also the non-one, for the difference that the non-one implies results as negative as the one.
