L’articolo è memoria di un’esperienza didattica rivoluzionaria. L’insegnamento a distanza ha modificato procedure consolidate deragliando bruscamente verso una trasmissione didattica sconosciuta ai più che pur ha dovuto essere fattiva e rispettosa del contesto e delle reali esigenze rilevate. Fare scuola senza scuola. Scuola intesa come spazio non solo reale ma luogo di azioni quotidiane specifiche, organizzate in ambiti diversificati con ruoli distinti e regole evidenti e condivise. Ne consegue che la scuola si è dovuta reinventare, utilizzando linguaggi digitali, spazi virtuali, nuove metodiche che hanno permesso di mantenere al centro l’individuo studente risultato, fra tutti, il più fragile e disorientato.

The following text, starting from the undisputed value of the artistic and expressive training in the learning process, referring also to the Italian school structure and through a vertical development, analyses how the online teaching system, caused by the COVID-19, has inevitably changed the educational procedure. In this context, active learning in the artistic field, which has rooted in its own nature to apply open methods of teaching (like strategies tightly linked at the Circle Time, Cooperative Learning and Peer Education), showed all its value, offering the real possibility for the students to be the center of the formative action inside the process of cognitive learning that never actually stopped.
