Resumen de Poesía y filosofía en Sefarad: Las Sĕliḥot la-ʼašmurot de Judah Haleví

En este artículo se ofrece un análisis del género poético de las sĕliḥot en la poesía hispanohebrea en general, y en la de Judah Haleví en particular, situándolo en el contexto de la liturgia hebrea del mes de ‘Elul, los Yamim Noraim, y el rezo nocturno en las vigilias nocturnas, ʼašmurot. También se presenta un comentario literario sobre el trasfondo teológico y filosófico de estos poemas en comparación con la mística sufí y cristiana por un lado, y con las corrientes neoplatónicas de la época, por otro.

This paper presents an analysis of the poetic genre of sĕliḥot, both in Sephardi poetry and on Judah Halevi’s sĕliḥot-ʼašmurot, in the context of the Hebrew liturgy for the month of 'Elul, the Yamim Noraim and night whatch prayers. An stylistic commentary on the theological and philosophical background of these poems is presented by comparison with Sufi and early Christian misticism and the Neoplatonic philosofical trends as well.
