L’articolo intende dare rilievo, per la prima volta, alla fitta serie di scritti giornalistici che il germanista torinese Leonello Vincenti ha firmato per «La Stampa» tra il 1921 e il 1948. Gli elzeviri, per lo più redatti nel ruolo di corrispondente da Monaco di Baviera, mettono in dialogo, con autentica prosa d’arte, cultura italiana e cultura tedesca, e trattano diversi argomenti, in varie forme e generi (cronaca di costume e politica, intervista, reportage di viaggio, recensione di opere letterarie e teatrali, racconto, traduzione). Essi si distinguono per l’uso di un linguaggio chiaro ed evocativo, e per uno stile elegante. Nel presente contributo si offre la trascrizione di tredici articoli apparsi su «La Stampa»; la scelta vale a dimostrare l’ampiezza di interessi, l’intelligenza critica, e la tempestiva comprensione degli eventi storici.

The article aims to highlight, for the first time, the dense series of journalistic writings that the Turinese Germanist Leonello Vincenti signed for «La Stampa» between 1921 and 1948. Most of the elzeviri were written by him when he held the role of Munich’s correspondent; they put Italian culture and German culture into dialogue, with authentic prose of art, and deal with different topics, in various forms and genres (chronicle of customs and politics, interview, travel reportage, review of literary and theatrical works, story, translation). They stand out for the use of clear and evocative language, and for an elegant style. In the present contribution we offer the transcription of thirteen articles published in «La Stampa»; the choice is worth demonstrating the breadth of interests, critical intelligence, and the timely understanding of historical events.
