Resumen de (Re)vivir el andar de Mauricio Lefebvre: horizontes, desafíos y utopías para el sociólogo y la universidad del siglo XXI

Resumen El ensayo reactualiza el legado de Mauricio Lefebvre situando su vida y obra en el presente. Se plantea su vida como una alegoría de la formación del sociólogo, con sed de justicia y convicción de conocer para cambiar. Después, se realiza un recorrido histórico desde su muerte hasta la actualidad, develando las viejas-nuevas problemáticas de la realidad boliviana. Finalmente, se reflexiona sobre la posición de la universidad y la sociología, con miras a construir una nueva utopía desde Lefebvre.

Abstract The essay updates the legacy of Mauricio Lefebvre by placing his life and work in the present. His life is presented as an allegory of the formation of the sociologist, with a thirst for justice and a conviction to know in order to change. Later present a historical journey from his death to the present, revealing the old-new problems of Bolivian reality. Finally, we reflect on the position of the university and sociology, with a view to building a new utopia on the bases of Lefebvre.
