    El materialismo histórico y la fenomenología son dos importantes movimientos filosóficos que parecen estar enfrentados. Sin embargo, desde finales de 1920 ha habido innumerables intentos de articular estas dos tradiciones filosóficas, especialmente en Francia. Esta articulación entre marxismo y fenomenología no solo es un intento de hibridación teórica, sino también una hibridación entre diferentes tipos de discurso. Este ensayo empieza haciendo una exposición del contexto de la filosofía francesa de 1930 y de las condiciones particulares de la importación simultánea del marxismo y de la fenomenología. En segundo lugar, se presenta las síntesis propuestos en la época de la Liberación, momento en el que este proyecto teórico tuvo más éxito. En tercer lugar, veremos cómo la Guerra Fría transformó profundamente la estructuración del campo filosófico surgido de la Resistencia y dio lugar a nuevos intentos de articulación que trataban de tener en cuenta los recientes avances de las ciencias humanas. Por último, expondremos las nuevas direcciones tomadas por el proyecto de hibridar fenomenología y marxismo después de 1960.

    Historical materialism and Phenomenology are two important philosophical movements that seem to be at odds with each other. However, since the late 1920s there have been countless attempts to articulate these two philosophical traditions, especially in France. This articulation between Marxism and Phenomenology is not only an attempt at theoretical hybridisation, but also a hybridisation between different types of discourse. This essay begins by outlining the context of French philosophy in the 1930s and the particular conditions of the simultaneous importation of Marxism and Phenomenology. Secondly, it presents the syntheses proposed at the time of the Liberation, when this theoretical project was most successful. Thirdly, we will see how the Cold War profoundly transformed the structuring of the philosophical field that emerged from the Resistance and gave rise to new attempts at articulation that tried to take into account recent advances in the human sciences. Lastly, we will discuss the new directions taken by the project of hybridising Phenomenology and Marxism after 1960.
